Aquarium-only individual admission is 2,030 yen for adults and high-school students, 1,010 yen for elementary and junior-high students, and 500 yen for children aged four and over below school age. Combined tickets for nearby facilities and evening tickets are separate.
Opening hours
Normal hours are 09:30–17:30. Golden Week and summer holidays from late July through August are listed as 09:30–20:00; winter from December to mid-March is 09:30–17:00. Last admission is one hour before closing. Check the official calendar for your date’s exact hours.

How to get to Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
Take the Meiko subway line to Nagoyako and walk about five minutes from exit 3. From JR or Meitetsu, change at Kanayama to a Nagoyako-bound Meiko Line train. From the Higashiyama Line, check the connection for Nagoyako at Sakae.

Monday closures and school-holiday exceptions
It closes on Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public holiday. It opens on Mondays during Golden Week, July–September, New Year and spring school holidays. Temporary maintenance closures are possible, so check the official calendar for your date.
