Admission
Kami-no-Yu bathing-only costs ¥700 for ages 12+ or ¥350 for ages 2–11, with 60-minute use. Kami-no-Yu bathing with second-floor shared lounge access costs ¥1,300 for adults or ¥650 for ages 2–11. Tama-no-Yu second-floor shared lounge access costs ¥2,000 for adults or ¥1,000 for ages 2–11 and includes both baths, rest on Tama-no-Yu’s second floor and a self-guided Yushinden visit. A separate guided Yushinden visit costs ¥500 for adults or ¥250 for ages 6–11. Check each option’s booking conditions when adding lounge access or visits.
Opening hours
Kami-no-Yu bathing-only operates 06:00–23:00, with reception closing at 22:30, 60-minute use and no advance bookings. Second- and third-floor lounge options operate 06:00–22:00. Reception ends at 21:00 for Kami-no-Yu/Tama-no-Yu second-floor shared lounge or 20:30 for Tama-no-Yu third-floor private rooms. Yushinden visits operate 09:00–17:00, with reception ending at 16:30.

Rest after your bath
Alongside Kami-no-Yu bathing-only, some options combine bathing and a lounge. The Tama-no-Yu second-floor shared lounge option includes both Kami-no-Yu and Tama-no-Yu baths, rest on the second floor and a self-guided Yushinden visit. Prices, time limits and reception conditions vary by option.
How to get to Dogo Onsen Honkan
Take an Iyotetsu tram towards Dogo Onsen and get off at Dogo Onsen Station. Walk along Haikara-dori shopping street to Honkan. For meals before or after bathing, check the hours of the shops you want to use.

Before you visit
Honkan has no overnight accommodation
Honkan is a public bathhouse rather than a hotel. To spend a night in Dogo after bathing, book separate accommodation nearby.
Walk Dogo’s shopping street after bathing
Haikara-dori shopping street lies between Dogo Onsen Station and Honkan. For a walk or meal before or after bathing, check the actual hours of the shops you want to visit. Shop hours differ from Honkan bathing hours.

Do I need to reserve Kami-no-Yu bathing-only in advance?
Kami-no-Yu bathing-only cannot be booked in advance; register on site. Queues can form, so leave flexibility after your bath. Other options with lounges have different reception and booking conditions; check Honkan’s official guidance.
