Admission
Admission costs ¥330 for adults, ¥270 for high school students, and ¥160 for elementary and junior high school students. Visitors with disabilities receive free admission by presenting their disability certificate. Groups of 30 or more have separate rates.
Opening hours
The garden opens 08:30–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. It opens year-round.

Walk around the pond and pavilion, then explore the medicinal plant garden. Allow time to enjoy both waterside scenery and the plants.
How to get to Oyakuen
Haikara-san from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station reaches Oyakuen in about 30 minutes. Get off for direct access to the garden entrance. Akabe uses Aizu-Wakamatsu Shoko Kaigisho-mae, about five minutes away on foot. The two buses have different stops.

Before you visit
Visit early in winter
The garden has no lighting, so visit early in winter. Plan a shorter outdoor walk when rain or snow makes walking difficult.

Do Haikara-san and Akabe use the same stop for Oyakuen?
No. Haikara-san stops at Oyakuen, with direct access to the entrance. Akabe stops at Aizu-Wakamatsu Shoko Kaigisho-mae, about five minutes away on foot.
