When only permanent displays are open, ordinary admission is 300 yen, or 150 yen for university and high school students; junior high school children and younger enter free. Adult admission to the 115th Noh costume exhibition, September 18–November 23, 2026, is 1,000 yen including permanent displays. Other special exhibitions have their own fees.
Opening hours
Open 09:30–17:00, last admission 16:30. Closed Mondays, or the next day if Monday is a public or substitute holiday. Also closed December 29–January 3. Check the official calendar for temporary closures and your date’s opening.

From Takasaki Station east exit, take Gururin route 9, 10 or 15 to Gunma no Mori. Walk about five minutes to the history museum. Adult bus fare is 200 yen.
