Admission

Collection admission is 200 yen, or 160 yen for university and high school students; junior high school children and younger and those aged 65 and older enter free. Special exhibitions have separate fees. Human Figure, October 10–December 13, 2026, costs 300 yen for ordinary adults including the Former Inoue Residence. This is separate from Museum of Modern Art, Gunma admission.

Opening hours

Museum hours are 10:00–18:00, last admission 17:30; Fridays extend to 20:00, last admission 19:30. Former Inoue Residence interiors open 10:00–11:00 and 14:00–16:00. Garden hours are 10:00–18:00 October–November, last admission 17:30, and 10:00–17:00 in December, last admission 16:30.

To see inside the residence

Residence interiors open 10:00–11:00 and 14:00–16:00. After lunch, visit during the afternoon session, then take your return train from Takasaki Station. Garden hours differ from interior sessions.
