How to get to Hakuto Shrine

Take route 41 Hakuto Kaigan Line towards Shikano from Tottori Station to Hakuto-Jinja-mae (白兎神社前). The ride takes about 40 minutes, then walk about five minutes to the shrine. Adults pay 610 yen one way, 1,220 return. Return towards Tottori Station; check outward and return services for your date.

Separate worship and office hours

Allow a suggested 30–45 minutes for grounds walks and ordinary worship. For amulets or enquiries, arrive during office hours, 09:00–16:00. For requested prayers, check booking guidance too.

Combining the shrine with dunes

Hakuto Shrine lies west of Tottori City and cannot be paired with the dunes on foot. For both by bus, allow transfer time at Tottori Station. Return from the shrine on a Tottori Station-bound bus.

Can I walk from Tottori Sand Dunes to Hakuto Shrine?

They are not one walkable sightseeing area. By bus, allow a transfer at Tottori Station to Hakuto Kaigan Line and choose a shrine–station return too.
