Ordinary admission is 450 yen for high school students and older, 210 yen for those aged 65 and older, and free for junior high school children and younger. The high-school-and-older rate including the seasonal charge is 800 yen April 3–May 6 and October 9–November 3, 2026. Check the seasonal rate for those aged 65 and older in official information. Rides, Seaside Train and bicycle hire are excluded.
Opening hours
The park opens at 09:30. It closes at 17:00 March 1–July 17 and September 1–October 31, at 18:00 July 18–August 31, and at 16:30 November 1–end of February. Tuesdays are normally closed, or the next weekday if Tuesday is a public holiday. Some spring, summer, autumn and New Year periods open daily; check your date’s calendar. Closed December 31, January 1 and from the Monday before February’s first Tuesday through that Friday.

Miharashi no Oka flowers and kochia
Walk the hill among flowers and kochia at Miharashi no Oka. Take photographs and rests along the way. Allow time to walk from the entrance to this area too.
How to get to Hitachi Seaside Park
Take a bus from Katsuta Station east exit stand 2. After about 15 minutes, alight at Kaihin-koen-nishiguchi (海浜公園西口). Enter through the West Entrance and use the park map to walk to Miharashi no Oka.

Before you visit
Walking from the West Entrance to flower fields
The bus-served West Entrance is separate from Miharashi no Oka. Choose your walking route on the park map and allow time to return to the entrance for your bus.
