Admission
Access to the fifth-floor observation deck is free. Meals, shopping, transport and other facility charges are separate.
Opening hours
The observation tower opens 09:00–21:00, with last admission at 20:50. Shops, restaurants and the indoor garden have different hours.

Look down over the port and sea from the free observation deck, then explore the views towards Akita City.
How to get to Akita Port Selion
Board the Selion service at stand 4 of Akita Station’s West Exit bus terminal and get off at Selion. The ride takes about 25 minutes and costs ¥550 per adult one way. Allow separately for waiting and walking from the stop to the entrance. Enter through the front of the port tower for the observation deck; Rista and Plaza are separate buildings. Another option is the walk from JR Tsuchizaki Station, about 2 km or 25 minutes. The JR fare is extra.

Before you visit
Return bus after sunset
For sunset, check the weather and your return bus to Akita Station together. Plan your visit around the bus rather than staying late based only on the deck’s opening hours. If you want a meal too, check restaurant hours separately.
