Admission

From April 1, 2026, individual admission is 500 yen for general visitors and university students, or 200 yen for elementary, junior high and high school students. Preschool children enter free. Groups of 30 or more pay 400 yen and 100 yen respectively.

How to get to Ishibutai Tomb

Take a bus stopping at Ishibutai from stand 2 at Kashiharajingu-mae east exit. Alight at Ishibutai and walk about three minutes to the tomb. Adult bus fares between the station’s east exit and Ishibutai are 440 yen each way or 880 yen return. Check the return bus and onward train together. The existing weekday timetable applies September 1, 2026–March 31, 2027; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays use a separate timetable.

Before you visit

Plan your outward and return buses together

If returning to Nara City, check both the bus from Ishibutai to Kashiharajingu-mae east exit and your onward train. Weekdays and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays use different bus timetables.
