Admission
Individual tower admission costs 500 yen for ages 15+, 250 yen for elementary and junior-high students, and is free for preschool children. The park lift costs 100 yen each way for general admission or 50 yen for elementary and junior-high students. Preschool children and ages 70+ ride free. Lift fares are separate from tower admission.
Opening hours
The tower opens 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:40. The viewing platform opens 05:00–22:00. Closed December 29–31; seasonal times may change.

How to get to Karatsu Castle
Walk about 25 minutes from Karatsu Station’s north exit towards the castle. There are 222 steps from the ascent entrance to the tower, with a park lift available for that section. Stairs remain inside the tower.
