How to get to Kirishima Shrine
Take JR’s Nippo Main Line from Kagoshima-Chuo to Kirishima-Jingu Station. Continue on a bus towards Kirishima Iwasaki Hotel for about 15 minutes and get off at Kirishima-jingu. The station is not directly in front of the shrine. For a car visit, use the car-park route in the operator’s access guide. Ordinary passenger-car parking is free. Leave time to walk from parking to the worship area too.

Returning to the station after the shrine
The regular route and separate access bus have different operating days, return times and tickets. Choose outward and return buses together. The access bus uses a designated day pass.
