Grounds admission costs 300 yen for adults; ages 6–12 pay 150 yen and under-sixes enter free. Buddha interior admission adds 50 yen per person.

The grounds open April–September 08:00–17:30 and October–March 08:00–17:00, last admission 15 minutes before closing. The Buddha interior opens 08:00–16:30, last admission 10 minutes before closing.

How to get to Kotokuin and the Great Buddha of Kamakura

Take Fujisawa-bound Enoden from Kamakura to Hase, then walk about seven minutes to Kotokuin. The walk from Kotokuin to Hasedera takes about five minutes.

Yes. The walk takes about five minutes. You can combine both temples; at Hasedera, also allow time for steps through the grounds.
