Visitor information
Admission
The return elevator fare is 600 yen for junior-high school students and older, or 400 yen for elementary school children; preschool children ride free. No reservations; first-come, first-served.
Opening hours
The elevator operates March 1–November 30, 08:00–17:00; December 1–end of February, 09:00–16:30. Last admission is 20 minutes before services end.

How to get to Kegon Falls
From JR Nikko or Tobu-Nikko Station, take a Tobu Bus for Chuzenji-onsen or Yumoto-onsen. Alight at Chuzenji-onsen and follow signs east towards Kegon Falls for about five minutes to the elevator entrance.

Mist can hide the waterfall, and weather can suspend elevator services. Temporary changes are possible too; check directions on site and official service notices before visiting the lower platform.
