Individual paid admission costs 400 yen for adults or 200 yen for elementary and junior-high school students.

Opening hours

Visits begin at 09:00. March 1–November 23: until 16:30 on weekdays, 16:50 on Sundays and public holidays. November 24–end of February: until 16:00 on weekdays, 16:20 on Sundays and public holidays. Admission ends 30 minutes before closing. For Saturdays or particular event dates, check the temple’s visitor guidance for your day.

Check last admission before closing time

Admission to the paid areas ends 30 minutes before closing. Arrive well before last admission to see both the buildings and Rakan figures.

Closures during event periods

Paid visits are suspended December 25–January 8, from the afternoon of February 2 through February 3, and April 2–4. Temple events may bring additional closure dates.
