How to get to Nikobuchi
The official tourism council gives about 70 minutes by car from Kochi city, excluding parking waits and the walk to the gorge. Set your navigation destination to Green Park Hodono as advised officially, and find Nikobuchi parking signs about 5 km before that destination. There are five marked parking areas and temporary spaces when these fill. Do not park along unmarked roadsides. The new gorge path has slopes and low steps, so check access and surface conditions for your date. If mountain driving is demanding, consult the official sightseeing taxi guide too.
