Individual admission costs ¥2,400 for adults; ages 65+ pay ¥1,800; junior high and high school students pay ¥1,700; elementary school students pay ¥1,200; preschool children ages 4+ pay ¥700; children under 4 enter free.
Opening hours
28 September–3 November: 09:00–17:30, last admission 17:00. 4 November–19 March: 10:00–17:00, last admission 16:30. For other periods or changed hours, check your date in official operating information.

You can re-enter the aquarium on the same day. Ask exit staff about the re-entry procedure before leaving, then return within that day’s hours to continue visiting.
How to get to Sendai Uminomori Aquarium
Take the JR Senseki Line from Sendai to Nakanosakae, about 18 minutes. Walk about 15 minutes from the South Exit to the aquarium. Miyako Kotsu buses also connect station and aquarium for ¥200 per adult one way. They are not free shuttles; allow extra time to wait for trains and buses.
