Visitor information
Admission
Individual admission is 1,500 yen for high-school age and above, 600 for elementary/junior-high students, 200 for preschool children aged four+, and free for ages three and under.
Opening hours
Basic hours are 09:00–17:00, with ticket sales/last admission until 16:30. Closed 29 December–1 January and the first Thursday in March/following day. New Year, Golden Week and summer school holidays may change the schedule.

How to get to Marinepia Nihonkai
Take C22 Hamauracho Line towards Suizokukan-mae (水族館前) from terminal stand 9 to its terminus. Ride about 25 minutes; one-way fares are 260 yen for adults and 130 for children. The stop is on the road outside Niigata Field. Walk through the front entrance (正面入口), buy tickets beside the museum shop (チケット売場), then enter. Return on Niigata-bound C22 in the same stop area. Allow separate bus waits and walks.
