Pass torii and view the stone bridge on a grounds walk. The shrine approach and summit Okumiya are separate, so a grounds-only course is an option.

How to get to Yahiko Shrine
Take JR Echigo Line to Yoshida, transfer to a Yahiko-bound JR Yahiko Line train and get off at Yahiko. The shrine is about 1 km/15 minutes on foot. Return via Yoshida, transferring to Niigata. Check travel-date returns/fares with JR.

Choose Yoshida transfers and returns together
Transfer at Yoshida, then walk from Yahiko Station. Choose returns in advance, allowing shrine-to-station walking and Yoshida transfer time.
