Admission
The grounds are free. Standard interiors: adults 300 yen, elementary/junior-high students 150. Special visits: adults 800, children 400; Treasure Hall 400.
Opening hours
Onomichi Tourism Association lists 08:00–17:00, while Japan Heritage information lists 09:00–16:00. For interiors, confirm available times and areas before visiting. Temple events and repairs may restrict interior visits.

How to get to Jodoji Temple, Onomichi
Walk about 15 minutes from Onomichi Station to Senkoji Ropeway’s lower station, then about 20 more to Jodoji. Return to the station by the same route. Food and finding your way need extra time. By bus, take an eastbound service from Onomichi Station for about seven minutes to Jodoji-shita, with immediate access from the stop. Check return buses and fares separately.
