Admission
Standard admission is 350 yen; university students pay 150. High-school students and younger and ages 65+ are free. For free/reduced admission, check official proof requirements and conditions before entering.
Opening hours
16 March–15 September 09:00–18:00; 16 September–15 March 09:00–17:00. Last admission 30 minutes before closing. Closed 29–31 December.

How to get to Shukkeien Garden
Take route 2 or 6 from Hiroshima Station to Hatchobori, then route 9 towards Hakushima to Shukkeien-mae and walk to the entrance. Return on route 9 towards Hatchobori, then route 2 or 6 to Hiroshima Station. With transfer conditions met, adult fares are 240 yen one way or 480 return. With cash, collect a transfer ticket on first alighting; it is valid that day. With transport IC, tap on every boarding/alighting and transfer within 60 minutes of first alighting. The opposite-direction return after sightseeing requires a new fare.
