Admission
Sand and coastal walks have no admission fee. Check separate costs/conditions for water park, rentals, lockers and parking. The guide’s beach walks exclude water-play facilities.
Opening hours
Coastal lighting runs sunset–22:00, switched off for fireworks events. Swimming seasons and hours follow separate information.

How to get to Atami Sun Beach
Walk about 20 minutes from Atami Station to Sun Beach. The return is uphill: leave in time for your train and allow platform access after reaching the station.
Before you visit
2026 swimming season
The 2026 beach swimming season ran 11 July–30 August, 09:00–16:00. This does not define beach-walking hours. For swimming in another year, check that year’s information.
Uphill return to the station
The return towards Atami Station is uphill. On departure days, allow plenty of time from the beach to the train platform.
