Admission
Daytime performances cost ¥1,300 for adults and ¥700 for elementary and junior high school pupils. Evening shows cost ¥1,600 and ¥800 respectively. Museum admission is separate.
Opening hours
Daytime shows start at 11:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 and last 40 minutes. The evening show starts at 20:00 and lasts 50 minutes. Weather or events may change schedules.

Performances and learning the dance
The performance includes a participation section where audience members can learn dance movements. If you are new to Awa Odori, watch the show and try the steps yourself. Museum exhibitions require a separate admission ticket.

How to get to Awa Odori Kaikan
Walk from Tokushima Station to Awa Odori Kaikan and go to the second-floor theatre. If also using Bizan Ropeway, it boards on the fifth floor of the same building.

The Kaikan closes on the second Wednesday of February, June, September and December, or the following day if that date is a public holiday, and from 28 December to 1 January. Regular shows pause from 11 to 15 August. Special festival performances have different dates and prices; check Kaikan notices.
