Admission
Admission costs 500 yen for adults, 200 yen for junior-high and high-school students, and 100 yen for elementary-school students. Groups of 30+ pay 400, 150 and 70 yen respectively.
Opening hours
Normal hours are 09:00–16:30, last admission 30 minutes before closing. From 10 December to 31 January, hours shorten to 09:00–16:00, last admission 15:30. No regular closed days are specified in official guidance; check event/weather notices beforehand.

View the gate, Buddha hall and Dharma hall in turn. Walk the corridors too to see how the temple buildings connect.
How to get to Zuiryuji
From Takaoka, exit south and walk about ten minutes to Zuiryuji. From Shin-Takaoka, allow about 15 minutes. Follow official directions for your arrival station.
Before you visit
Choose your walk for the arrival station
Walk about ten minutes south from Takaoka Station or 15 minutes from Shin-Takaoka. Routes differ; check your alighting station before boarding.
Arrive earlier in winter
From 10 December to 31 January, closing is 16:00 and last admission 15:30. For late-afternoon visits, allow viewing time plus the station walk. Check temple notices for event/weather changes.
