Kurokawa Onsen: access and outdoor-bath planning

Kurokawa Onsen · 黒川温泉

Kurokawa Onsen combines a compact village walk with outdoor baths at participating ryokan. Confirm your outward and return transport before choosing a bath-pass route.

The Kurokawa Onsen Kaze no Ya camera is a periodically refreshed view near the visitor centre, not a view inside a bath.

Plan the bus before the village walk

Official access information lists Kyushu Odan Bus and Sanko Bus services. Start by choosing your departure city, then check both the arrival service and the last practical return service.

Use the visitor centre to choose a route

Kaze no Ya is the visitor-information point for a village map. A village walk and an outdoor-bath visit take different amounts of time, so it helps to decide which ryokan you want to use first.

Nyuto Tegata covers participating baths, but reception hours and conditions vary by ryokan. Check the property directly; photography is generally not allowed in bath areas.

Camera limits

The Minamioguni camera near Kaze no Ya is a refreshed outdoor image. It is useful for the visitor-centre area, but it does not show any bathing facility.
