Stay two Yokohama nights, one Yumoto night, then return to Yokohama for the final night. After the museum, collect bags at your Yumoto hotel and descend to the city.

Day 1: Nippon Maru and Yokohama harbour walking

On arrival day, explore Nippon Maru’s interior and rest with harbour scenery. Depending on hotel location, take JR from Yokohama to Sakuragicho or start walking at Sakuragicho Station.

Day 2: Kamakura Hasedera and Great Buddha worship

Make a day trip from Yokohama to Hasedera and the Great Buddha in Kamakura. Eat around Hase Station afterwards and return along the same railway route.

Day 3: move to Yumoto and visit the history museum

Move from Yokohama to Yumoto today. Rather than ascending further, visit the history museum near the station and explore Yumoto.

The history museum closes Wednesdays, the last Monday each month and around New Year. Check public-holiday exceptions and exhibitions in official information. Shorten the visit around any accommodation dinner or bathing arrangements.

Day 4: Open-Air Museum, then move to Yokohama

Walk among sculptures and see indoor exhibits, then return to Yokohama for the final night. Collect bags at your Yumoto hotel after viewing, then travel through Odawara to Yokohama.

Day 5: indoor port museum exhibits

Leave from Yokohama today. For a late flight, choose the port museum; for an early flight, omit sightseeing and allow time for airport travel.

Day 3: Enoshima observation tower and daytime garden

Enjoy sea views from Enoshima’s tower and a daytime garden walk. Take Enoden from Fujisawa, then descend the island on foot and return to the same Enoshima Station.

    Before boarding Escar, buy the 1,100-yen adult daytime set ticket at section one’s ticket office for Sea Candle and all three Escar sections. Frequently asked questions

Where do I spend the final night after Hakone?

After day-four museum viewing, you collect bags at the same Yumoto hotel on the Hakone course and travel via Odawara to new accommodation in Yokohama. The Fujisawa course also moves with luggage to Yokohama on day four. Visit the port museum on an open final day only if a hotel stop afterwards still leaves time to reach the airport.
