We do not require an account, login or payment. If you select “Find nearby areas” on the restaurant map, your browser may ask for location permission. If you allow it, we use your position in the browser to sort areas in Japan by distance; our site does not send or store it on a server. You can choose an area manually without sharing your location. Place searches and map filters also run in your browser. Region, category and camera identifiers may appear in the URL to make views shareable. We do not maintain an account database containing member details or search histories.

Even without an account, loading pages and external resources involves processing connection information. Your browser may retain pages and images in its history or cache; you can manage these through browser settings.

Site delivery and external services

• Cloudflare delivers the site and may process IP addresses, request URLs and browser information for delivery and security. On the transport page, we return only the country and, for Japan, prefecture code generated by Cloudflare during that connection to choose a default region. The response excludes the IP address, city and coordinates, and we do not store it in a site database.
• Maps load from OpenFreeMap or the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan; web fonts load from Google Fonts. Camera previews load directly from official providers or YouTube image servers.
• These requests may disclose your IP address and browser/request information to those services. We set a restrictive Referrer-Policy for ordinary outgoing requests, but cannot control all processing by external providers.
• Official viewing links open external sites in a new tab. Their policies govern subsequent cookies, logins and viewing information.

Map and image requests are separate from optional visitor analytics. Declining analytics does not prevent the connections needed to display those resources. Information may be processed abroad depending on provider server locations. Their retention and processing rules are described in the policies linked below.

Google Analytics visitor statistics

With analytics consent, we count link and button clicks across the site. We record the page, site language, a short visible label for the clicked item and its area. Coupon clicks are grouped by provider, selected market and language page, and offer. The selected market does not identify your nationality or actual location. We do not send text typed into search fields, coordinates, full external URLs, URL query parameters or fragments. We use these statistics to improve pages and controls.

Since September 9, 2026, the Google Analytics 4 tag loads on our main domain only after you consent to analytics. It does not load before consent or after you decline. We use page visits, referral sources, device/browser information and configured interaction events to understand usage and improve the site. Initial page and referral URLs are sent without query strings or fragments. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in our code.

Analytics cookies use the names _ga and names beginning _ga_; our code sets their expiry to 180 days. Your choice is stored for 180 days in browser local storage under jln-analytics-consent-v1. This is not the retention period for statistics already sent to Google’s servers.

You can decline at any time through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. This stops subsequent collection and deletes those analytics cookies accessible on this domain. Previously transmitted statistics are not immediately deleted. Maps, search and official links remain available without consent.

Email inquiries and rights requests

We receive inquiries at a NAVER email address. If you email us, the team and mail provider process your sender address, display name, message, attachments and ordinary email delivery information to respond, correct errors, check rights and handle your request. We do not use inquiries to create user accounts or subscribe senders to marketing.

We keep information needed to handle the inquiry and delete unnecessary personal information and attachments once it is resolved. If a dispute or legal retention requirement applies, we retain only the necessary material for that purpose. The mail provider’s backup and retention rules may differ from how the team manages its mailbox.

Email us to request access, correction or deletion. We may ask for minimal verification, such as confirmation from the sender address, to avoid acting on another person’s information. Do not send unnecessary identity documents, passwords, booking references or other sensitive information. We remove identifying details or obtain separate permission before making an inquiry public.

AdSense review and advertising

We have requested a site review from Google AdSense. To verify site ownership, our pages include a Google AdSense account meta tag in their <head>. This tag alone does not run ads, advertising cookies or the AdSense advertising script.

AdSense requests and scripts are currently disabled, so no AdSense display ads appear on this site. The affiliate links described below are separate. Analytics consent is not advertising consent. The code also requires both a confirmed site approval and a separately verified advertising-consent implementation before the AdSense script can load.

Before starting ads after an approval, we will update this notice with advertising providers, advertising-related processing and cookies, and the consent, opt-out and withdrawal choices required for the visitor’s region, then apply a separate advertising-consent process. Our current analytics dialog is not a certified advertising consent-management platform.

We update this page and its revision date when providers or processing practices change. Please contact the team with privacy questions.
