Admission
Official tourism guidance does not list a separate admission price for the walking area. Check sightseeing-boat and nearby paid-attraction fees separately. Buses from JR Omihachiman Station cost JPY 260 per adult one way or JPY 520 return; boat fares are excluded.
Opening hours
The walking area has no regular closing day. Shops and boat operators have different schedules; check your chosen service if planning shopping or a ride.

How to get to Hachiman-bori Canal
Take a bus from Omihachiman Station's north exit stopping at Hachiman-bori (Osugicho) Hachimanyama Ropeway-guchi. The ride takes about seven minutes; the canal is a short walk from the stop. Allow separately for bus waiting, strolling and meals. Check the return station-bound bus.
