How to get to Usuki Stone Buddhas
Reserve a sightseeing taxi from Usuki Station to the Stone Buddhas and back after viewing. The official map lists about 15 minutes by taxi from the station. Contact the company by the previous day to agree station pickup, viewing time and the return train. The flexible city programme runs 1 July 2026–31 March 2027 and costs JPY 7,000 per vehicle for two hours, with daily vehicle limits. JR and sightseeing taxis are excluded from itinerary subtotals.

Book a sightseeing taxi with the company by the previous day. Agree Usuki Station pickup, Stone Buddhas viewing time and station return together. Is the JPY 7,000 two-hour sightseeing taxi fare per person?
It is per vehicle. The tourism association's flexible city programme runs 1 July 2026–31 March 2027 and requires booking by the previous day. Stone Buddhas admission and JR fares are separate. Confirm extra time, parking and other conditions when booking.
