Getting there & visiting

If you drive, use the official car parks by National Route 55, about 100 m from the entrance. Searching only for the cave name in a navigation app may send you to a narrow road above the fern colony, where there are no stairs down to the cave or parking.

What this view cannot tell you

An entrance view cannot show footing or access throughout the cave. Aki City advises against entering when water levels are high, even if you wear boots.
