Tottori webcams and updated images

The eastern Tottori Sand Dunes camera looks toward the dunes and sea; Mount Daisen and Yonago Station have separate views. Conditions at the dunes need not match the mountain.

First time in Tottori?

Plan your route

The Tottori Sand Dunes and Mount Daisen are far apart and call for different kinds of walking. Choose the coast or the mountain for a short visit, rather than rush through both.

When to visit

Summer dunes bring sun and hot sand; winter at Daisen calls for snow and mountain-access checks. Clear dunes do not establish a safe hike.

Local food to try

Matsuba crab is a winter speciality; beef-bone gyukotsu ramen is another meal outside crab season.
