Admission

Ogimachi village walks have no admission charge. Interior fees vary by house; Wada House charges 400 yen for junior-high students and older visitors or 200 yen for elementary students. Other houses, the open-air museum and parking cost extra.

How to get to Shirakawa-go Ogimachi Gassho-style Village

Board a Shirakawa-go bus at Takayama Nohi Bus Center and alight at Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal. The ride takes about 50 minutes. Some services require reservations, so check both outward and return requirements separately.
