How to get to Yamanaka Onsen
Take an IR Ishikawa Railway local train from Kanazawa to Kaga Onsen, then a Yamanaka-bound bus from stand 2. Check travel-date fares, services and the stop nearest your hotel.

Ordinary adult IR local fare is 880 yen one way or 1,760 return, excluding Shinkansen and onsen buses. The official fare table revised 14 March 2026 states no fare changes apart from adding Shikibu Station.

For guests using prebooked free pickup, go to the south-exit hotel boarding point at Kaga Onsen, distinct from local-bus stand 2. The suggested ride takes about 25 minutes. Choose and book a service matching your train arrival in official access guidance. Local buses require separate fares and walking time from stop to hotel.

Book Ohanami Kyubei’s free pickup by the previous day; it does not run without reservations. Return bookings are accepted from check-in until breakfast the next morning.
