Hakkoda-Maru is a Seikan ferry that carried trains across the sea. Go aboard to see railway carriages and recreations of the apple market once outside Aomori Station and the ferry waiting room.
It is within walking distance of Aomori Station, convenient for a visit alongside a port walk.

Visitor information
Admission
Individual onboard exhibition admission costs ¥510 for adults and university students, ¥310 for junior high and high school students, and ¥110 for elementary school students. Combined tickets with WA RASSE are no longer sold; pay admission separately for each facility.
Opening hours
April–October hours are 09:00–19:00, with last admission at 18:00. November–March hours are 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. Closed Mondays in November–March, or the next day if a public holiday; also 31 December, 1 January and Monday–Friday of the second week of March.
