How to get to Lake Towada Yasumiya shore

Prefectural tourism information gives about 15 minutes on foot from the stop to the Maiden Statue. The Ministry of the Environment gives about five minutes from central Yasumiya to the shrine. These start at different places; do not add them together as a 20-minute total walk. For a sightseeing cruise or Oirase stream visit too, check service times and return transport separately.

Towada Hotel on the western shore is about 15 minutes from Yasumiya by reserved shuttle. Book by around 22:00 the previous night; it does not run without a reservation. Ask other accommodation about its own shuttle conditions.
