How to get to Jodogahama
From Miyako Station, take a Miyako Hospital-bound local bus that calls at Jodogahama Visitor Center (浄土ヶ浜ビジターセンター), then walk to the beach. The city gives about 13 minutes on the bus and 15 minutes on foot afterwards. The adult Jodogahama/Miyako Port one-day pass costs ¥500 and covers both journeys on this section. Check the operator’s return timetable for the day of the week you visit.
Before you visit
Walk from the visitor centre to the beach
After taking a city bus to the visitor centre, continue on foot to the beach. The free park loop is seasonal and separate from station city buses; check whether it runs on your date and plan your return city bus too.
