The combined collection ticket for the main building and Higashiyama Kaii Gallery costs 700 yen general admission or 500 for university students and ages 75+. The latter groups must present ID. High-school students and younger visitors, or anyone under 18, enter free. Prices differ when one display area closes; special exhibitions cost extra.
Opening hours
09:00–17:00, exhibition admission until 16:30. Display-change dates can differ between the main building and Higashiyama Kaii Gallery; check both schedules to visit both.

How to get to Nagano Prefectural Art Museum
Take Zenkoji-bound route 10 from Nagano Station’s Zenkoji Exit stand 1. On weekdays, alight at Zenkoji Daimon and walk about 10 minutes. On weekends/public holidays, alight at Joyama Koen-mae and walk about one minute. Routes 11, 16 and 17 also offer Zenkoji Kita followed by about a three-minute walk; match your stop to your route.

Before you visit
Museum closures and exhibition changes
Closed Wednesdays, or the next weekday when Wednesday is a public holiday, and 28 December–3 January. Some rooms close during exhibition changes, so check calendars for both buildings separately.
