Admission

Individual returns through 31 October 2026 cost adults 1,000 yen and children 500. Planned fares from 1 November are adults 1,200 and children 600.

Opening hours

Normal services run 08:30–17:00, final descent 17:20. On 20 July–31 August, services run 08:30–18:00, final descent 18:20.

How to get to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway

Walk about 15 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station to ropeway Lakeside Station. By bus, alight at the pleasure-boat/ropeway entrance stop and walk there. Queues after arrival are additional.

2026 inspection-related shortened hours and suspensions

Shortened services are planned for regular inspections on 21–22 October and 25–26 November 2026. Services are scheduled to be suspended for annual inspections on 7–18 December. Strong winds, thunderstorms and other bad weather can suspend services without notice; check same-day updates.
