The Ministry of the Environment provides periodically updated photographs from the Waterfowl and Wetland Center on northern Lake Biwa. Birds may not always be visible. Images are not acquired on Tuesdays (the next day when Tuesday is a holiday) or December 29–January 3, so check the capture time. The map uses an approximate facility reference.
