UTY's official rooftop camera at Yamanashi Science Museum overlooks the Kofu Basin cityscape and surrounding weather. It does not show museum exhibits or Takeda Shrine interiors. Camera direction or content may change with broadcasting operations.
Image update intervals and capture times depend on the operator. Check the official page for current broadcast status.
How to view this camera
What the camera shows
Kofu Basin cityscape from the museum rooftop
Viewing format
YouTube video
Select “Watch on YouTube” to open the operator’s video. Check the player’s live indicator and broadcast date before treating it as a current view.
When to choose this view
Use UTY’s science-museum rooftop feed for a broad Kofu Basin cityscape and surrounding mountains.
What this view cannot tell you
This is not inside the museum or Takeda Shrine. Broadcast framing may change the visible composition.
If the video has ended or will not play, check the operator’s channel or camera page for a new stream. A preview image alone does not confirm that a broadcast is live.
“Connection last checked” records a link check, not an image capture time or confirmation of a live broadcast.
The camera only covers its field of view. Check the relevant official notices for weather, transport and access restrictions. Source information
During an earthquake, severe rain, typhoon or other emergency, use this view only as a reference. Follow official weather, disaster and transport alerts, plus instructions on site, when deciding whether to evacuate or travel.
See the reception area at the Fifth Station General Management Center on Mount Fuji's Yoshida Route. Yamanashi Prefecture operates this seasonal camera during the climbing season; check the source for stream availability.
See Mount Fuji from First Terrace at FUJIYAMA Twin Terrace on Shindo Pass. Still images usually update every thirty minutes during daylight hours, so check when each image was taken.
See Mount Fuji in the camera image from the grounds of Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel. The snapshot updates roughly once a minute rather than providing continuous video, so check its timestamp when looking at cloud cover or snow.
Look across Lake Kawaguchi toward Mount Fuji from Shuhokaku Kogetsu on the northern shore. Fuji's reflection may appear when conditions are right, but neither the mountain nor its reflection is always visible.
