A Shirahama Ohama Beach camera provided by Shimoda City's Tourism Exchange Division and the tourism association's LIVE SHIMODA service. It overlooks the sandy coast south of Shirahama Shrine, separate from Shirahama Chuo Beach to the north. The view may be dark at night, and maintenance can change the broadcast URL. Check the association's daily guidance for swimming conditions rather than relying on the camera. The marker is an approximate beach-area reference, not an exact camera mount.
Image update intervals and capture times depend on the operator. Check the official page for current broadcast status.
Select “Watch on YouTube” to open the operator’s video. Check the player’s live indicator and broadcast date before treating it as a current view.
Open LIVE SHIMODA for Shirahama Ohama’s sand and sea south of Shirahama Shrine.
This is separate from Shirahama Chuo to the north and Shirarahama in Wakayama. Check the region despite similar beach names.
If the video has ended or will not play, check the operator’s channel or camera page for a new stream. A preview image alone does not confirm that a broadcast is live.
“Connection last checked” records a link check, not an image capture time or confirmation of a live broadcast.
The camera only covers its field of view. Check the relevant official notices for weather, transport and access restrictions. Source information
During an earthquake, severe rain, typhoon or other emergency, use this view only as a reference. Follow official weather, disaster and transport alerts, plus instructions on site, when deciding whether to evacuate or travel.
