Murodo shows the highland and ridges; Daikanbo looks toward the mountains. Open the view for your Alpine Route stop. There are separate cameras for trams at Toyama Station and the Amaharashi coast.
If you are going all the way to Murodo on the Tateyama Alpine Route, let that be your main outing. The transfers take time, leaving little room for a relaxed visit to Toyama City and Amaharashi Beach on the same day.
Tateyama’s spring snow walls, summer alpine scenery and autumn colour call for different visits. Check route opening and mountain weather with the operator.
Masu sushi, pressed trout sushi, travels well; for a seafood meal, look for Toyama Bay white shrimp.
