Which Nagano sights do you want to see?
Choose Matsumoto Castle for the wooden keep and moat, or Zenkoji in Nagano City for temple-approach walks. For art, compare Yayoi Kusama at Matsumoto City Museum of Art, Higashiyama Kaii at Nagano Prefectural Art Museum and Hokusai exhibitions in Obuse. Explore city history at Matsumoto City Museum, or old school architecture and education materials at Former Kaichi School. Check each facility’s tickets, closures and access, then match it to your base.
