There are separate cameras for Shibuya Scramble Crossing, Shinjuku Station’s east exit and Sensoji in Asakusa. Tokyo Tower looks out over the city, while the street cameras show a crossing or station entrance up close.
On a first Tokyo trip, consider Asakusa and Ueno on one day, then Shinjuku and Shibuya on another. Criss-crossing the city repeatedly means more train rides and less time to enjoy each neighbourhood.
For spring blossoms consider Ueno Park or Shinjuku Gyoen; for a city evening, Shibuya or Shinjuku. Do not plan central Tokyo around an assumed snowfall.
Tokyo is a place to try Edomae sushi or tempura. Look for a quick lunch set if you are on the move, or book a longer meal if eating out is a main part of your day.
