How to get to Nikobuchi
The official tourism council lists the drive from Kochi city as about 70 minutes, excluding parking waits and the walk into the gorge. Set your navigation to Green Park Hodono as instructed in the official guide, then look for Nikobuchi parking signs about 5 km before that destination. There are five marked parking areas and temporary overflow space. Do not park on unmarked roadsides. The new gorge trail includes slopes and low steps; check access and ground conditions for your date. If mountain driving concerns you, consult the official sightseeing taxi information.
