Admission
Individual same-day admission is JPY 1,600 for adults, JPY 600 for primary, junior high and high school students, and JPY 300 for preschool children aged three and older. Advance tickets bought by the previous day cost JPY 1,500, JPY 500 and JPY 200 respectively. Paid activities cost extra.
Opening hours
The Railway Museum opens from 10 am to 5 pm, with last admission at 4.30 pm. Standard closures are Tuesdays and over New Year; check calendar exceptions and temporary closures.
