Sapporo or Hakodate for a two-day trip?

Stay one night in Sapporo for park walks and city views, or in Hakodate for the lights between two stretches of sea and a view of the fort. The Sapporo itinerary uses New Chitose Airport; the Hakodate itinerary uses Hakodate Airport. On departure day, allow for the airport journey and departure procedures first. Add sightseeing only if you can still reach the airport by the time your airline specifies.
