Individual adult admission ¥1,000; junior high age and younger free, effective 1 October 2026. Nagoya’s senior resident price is ¥300, requiring the city-issued senior benefit booklet and documents establishing address, age and identity. Group and Tokugawaen combined tickets are separate.

09:00–16:30. Enter Honmaru Palace/Nishinomaru Treasure House by 16:00 at each building. Allow walking from main/east gates; the main-gate-to-palace entrance walk is roughly 10 minutes.

How to get to Nagoya Castle

Take the Meijo Line to Nagoyajo. Walk roughly five minutes from exit 7 to Nagoya Castle. Alternatively, walk roughly 12 minutes from Tsurumai Line Sengencho exit 1.
