Official tourist guidance lists no separate grounds worship fee. Items from the office, including binding stones, charms, ema plaques and goshuin stamps, cost extra.

How to get to Hakuto Shrine
Take route 41 Hakuto Coast Line bound for Shikano from Tottori Station to Hakuto Jinja-mae (白兎神社前). The ride takes about 40 minutes, then walk about five minutes to the shrine. Adult fare is JPY 610 one way or JPY 1,220 return. Take a Tottori Station-bound bus back, checking both services in your date’s timetable.

Visiting tips
Distinguish worship from office hours
Allow a suggested 30–45 minutes for a grounds walk and ordinary worship. For charms or enquiries, arrive within office hours, 09:00–16:00. For a separate prayer request, check reservation guidance.

Combining it with the dunes
Hakuto Shrine is west of Tottori city and cannot be connected to the dunes on foot. By bus, allow transfer time at Tottori Station. Return from Hakuto on a Tottori Station-bound bus.

Can I walk from Tottori Sand Dunes to Hakuto Shrine?
The two sites cannot be combined as one walking route. By bus, allow a transfer via Tottori Station to the Hakuto Coast Line and choose your shrine–station return.
