Admission
Individual keep admission costs JPY 500 for ages 15 and over and JPY 250 for elementary and junior high school students; preschool children enter free. One-way park elevator fares are JPY 100 for adults and JPY 50 for elementary and junior high school students; preschool children and ages 70 and over ride free. Elevator fares are excluded from keep admission.
Opening hours
The keep opens 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:40. The platform on which it stands opens 05:00–22:00. Closed December 29–31; hours may change seasonally.

Walk from Karatsu Station's north exit towards the castle, about 25 minutes away. There are 222 steps from the ascent entrance to the keep, with a park elevator option for that section. Stairs remain inside the keep.
