Admission

Individual admission is JPY 460 for adults aged 15 and over; junior high school students and younger enter free. Ages 65 and over pay JPY 200 and need proof of age.

Opening hours

Hours are 09:00–17:00 in April–May and September–March, or 09:00–18:00 in June–August. Closed December 31, the third Monday in January and the following Tuesday.

How to get to Yoshinogari Historical Park

From Saga Station, take a Tosu-bound Nagasaki Main Line local train and get off at Yoshinogari-Koen. Walk about 15 minutes to the east entrance. Check train journey times and return services in the official JR search, allowing waiting and station walks.

Start a ruins visit at the east entrance

Use the east entrance for ruins. The west entrance is closer to play facilities and lawns, changing the walking distance to the archaeological area.

Allow around three to four hours for a ruins-focused visit with outdoor rests and lunch. This estimate does not cover the entire park; walks to and from the station and waiting for trains are separate.
